Rules

Starting/initiating RP

  • Just ask! I may also initiate walkups.

  • I may approach you if you are IC and are ok with walkups. I will not be offended if for whatever reason you decide you aren't interested, but please communicate that.

Limits

  • I have very few limits as far as standard RP goes. Darker or bleak/unsettling subject matter is welcome. When in doubt, ask.

  • I will not RP with minors. This is a hard rule. Please do not lie about your age.

Combat

  • Prefer context based "Play To Lose" (Often referred to as P2L, or PTL), is the act of simply following the most logical and likely path in roleplay. It means taking into account your characters strengths and weaknesses, and being honest. P2L requires a lot of honesty, because a lot of the time, it can mean harm to your character.

  • Open to any other system provided a template for it is available.

  • Combat is generally more of a vehicle, not the spectacle of an encounter for me personally.

Injury/death

  • Temporary injury is ok.

  • Permanent injuries depend on context/severity as well as its contribution to a scene.

  • Death is not just "no" in limited circumstances discussed beforehand, please inquire if this is something you want. Please keep in mind that the answer will more than likely be "no" regardless.

Hooks

  • Your eye catches onto a loose, flowing pink garb. there seems to be some sort of companion of his hanging on for dear life onto it, blending in with the bright shade of pink. the man doesn't seem to be acknowledging it at the moment, despite it's high pitched squeaking and protesting.

  • You may recognize him as a tithe collector/ferryman for the Ruby Sea Confederates if you travel frequently in the Ruby Sea.

  • You spot a weathered looking drawing book, filled with sketches of various ships, mostly of Hingan make and style, flying the colors of the Ruby Sea Confederates. They appear to be drawn by hand, albeit in unorthodox and stylized ways. there is another drawing of what appears to be a village on the ocean floor, surrounded by a giant veil protecting it from being inundated. perhaps you have heard of this place, or are interested in finding out more about it/how to get there.

  • You are looking for a guide for the waters of the Ruby sea, the mountainous region near the northeast of Shishu, or the Suenokuni region.

  • You are in need of ship repairs, emergency or otherwise, or a very competent navigator/sailor for a voyage into lesser charted water.
